Grrrr

So last night I got my new laptop. It looks really cool, and I was incredibly excited. Then I turned it on and it played some music, but the screen just stayed white. So I called places and they told me it sounded like the laptop had a bad backlight, and to send it back. They then said I could either wait about two weeks for the new one or charge a second computer on my card and they'd refund it when they get the old one. Um, I don't think so! So I have to wait another two weeks until mine goes back and then the new one gets sent. I'm so not impressed.

But, to put things in perspective, I should be happy because I got rave reviews for my Cert Qual sim yesterday. I'm scheduled for a final on Oct 27. After that, I'll be an actual FDO. Wow.

I get to use the computer tonight because Gavin and Cari went to see Hero. It's raining like the dickens outside - I hope they can get home alright.

I'm going to make the most of my surfing time...
