Read my Mind

Sarah has been complaining of a restless feeling this week. I don't think it's just her. I've been experiencing similar symptoms, although they're manifesting in slightly different ways. For instance, I've been thinking a lot about what I'd do when/if we actually made the decision to leave Houston. A couple friends of ours told us Sunday that they're moving to Colorado, and I'm just jealous. Why can't I have one of those jobs where you can go anywhere and do the same thing? We never would have ended up here in the first place.

I can't believe the Astros took 2 from the Cardinals. I didn't expect that. It makes it less likely that the game we're going to Sunday will be relevant (which is a good thing - clinching ealry is good), but more likely that I am going to get to use those playoff tickets Sarah got me.

I'm experiencing my first major case of internal blog-related conflict. There is something I'd really like to discuss here, but due to a desire/necessity for a certain amount of secrecy I can't post my thoughts on the internet. Sucks.

Worst part about the blog turmoil is that people that I don't think read this are the reason I can't write here... Classic dooce-prevention measures.

My problem is that I always expected my life to be more... well...spectacular than it is now. And its not, and I don't see it changing. Therefore, I don't see me changing. And I'm boring. And it makes me frustrated and want to move onto something new that is also exciting.

Are we making guesses on your blog turmoil? ok, I won't post it on the internet...

Oh, yeah, you know. See, that's the crazy part. It's not a secret. Only it is. Only it's not. Plus, I'd rather write about it so that people can yawn and pull up a new web page rather than force discussion on people. Everybody wins with the interent.

Ok, so I just noticed the Seattle photo at the bottom -- very cool. I tried to recover my night shots with no success. :(

Well, I want to know what the blog turmoil is!
