Weeknight

Saw Jo last night at Mi Luna. She did her best to shock us all with the colorful life she's leading in Nac these days. :) On the way back home, Christina accused Becca, Cari, and I of not being capable of talking about anything except work. This is the danger of hanging out with co-workers all the time. It's a difficult pitfall to avoid.
I have to get ready for the Halloween party tonight. This week has been busier than I expected. At least the house is mostly still clean from last weekend.

You and Becca do talk about work A LOT. Sometimes I can do it, but I always reach my limit before you guys do.
I don't know; you can hold your own just fine! ;) When you guys start talking about DM, especially when we had Nick in the house, too, I generally tune out after a few minutes. I feel like it's Cari and the DMers; good name for a band, eh?
We all do it. Sarah and George just spent 45 min at lunch talking about ARD stuff. :)
Personally, I think it's healthy. It means we like our jobs.
Yeah, but George and I were at work. ;)
I agree - we talk to much about work and we should stop. Not entirely though. I think its definitely gotten a little more prominent the last 6 months or so -- I just said to Jen, it used to be that we would go out to dinner for 2 hours and talk about work for 20 minutes or so (totally normal and fun because work is what we do for 1/3 of our day) before meandering to other subjects, and now at the same dinner we might talk about work for an 1.5 hours (which leads you to wonder if we have a life).
I would like to point out that after Christina made the comment, we meandered on to completely un-work-related fun and pleasant conversation, so we are capable of it.
The flight controllers talk a lot more about work out of work than the analysts do. Becca and Jen have been pretty chatty about it ever since Becca became a FDO, and Sarah is doing more of it now.
I (usually) don't mind too much, as I find most of it interesting. But when there are non-DM people around, I think they get bored pretty quickly.
