I went to the doctor today, expecting just an exam. Instead we ended up with a picture of our baby!
It’s pretty early for an ultra-sound, but it was so unbelievable to get this visible evidence of the thing that’s making me nauseous, bloated, and sleeping 10 hours every night. Baby doesn’t look much like a person yet, but I think s/he’s beautiful.
I’ve been feeling pretty good so far. No vomiting episodes, yet! Gavin is highly amused by the fact that pregnancy and flatulence are related. He doesn’t even have the grace to pretend to blame it on the dogs...
