Separation Anxiety

Carina started day care today.
Everything was going fine, and she was very happy, until she pooped in her diaper. That was actually a good thing - I'd wanted a chance to show the staff about the cloth while I was still there. However, she doesn't like getting her diaper changed, and it took a bit longer than normal since I was teaching. So she got upset. Then she got upset when the lady tried to put her down with some toys. And then another kid started crying. So, as I left the worker is holding Carina in one arm, and rocking a crib with the other arm. Carina actually watched me go out the door with a sad-crying face on. :(
First off, I didn't think she'd focus on me leaving like that at this age. She's still supposed to be happy with any adult comforting her. Secondly, that's the image that's been in my head all afternoon, rather than all the smiles she gave me at home. *sniff*

So, has Carina forgiven you, or is she still not speaking to you?
Eva started 'school' today... she seemed okay when I left but then I called and they said she's off and on - crying, okay, crying, okay...
Oh I feel like crying... want to cry together?
