Left Foot, Right Foot

Carina is learning to walk, and boy does she love it! Sunday, we had her in stitches by sitting a few feet apart and encouraging her to walk back and forth between us, holding Gavin's hands and then mine. Then last night, I stood her up holding on to this pushalong/ridealong car she has, and she walked 5-6 steps with it. Tonight she crossed the floor a few times with it. We've both seen her stand unsupported for a few seconds.
As always, she's being careful Carina. I remember when Caroline was around this age and learning to walk with her pushalong elephant, she had to keep walking faster and faster to keep up with it. TOTALLY out of control! Carina is keeping her balance, though. The car has gotten ahead of her a couple times, but she's always stopped and rocked back to get it in a more stable position.
I thought about getting a video tonight, but my camera was out in the car. Soon - gotta capture those first steps.

Wow! She's growing up so fast! We need to get together with you guys soon so Lily and Carina can play.
Oh no! The blob stage is almost over... sigh... how I miss that blob stage. But how exciting that she will soon be terrorizing your dresser drawers and trying to drive the car, even though she is not even 3! Wait, we are talking about your daughter... sorry! ;)
